Jerwood Space
A former Victorian school in Southwark, the converted building was refurbished by Paxton Loucher Arhictects to create rehearsal studios, meeting rooms, offices and a versatile gallery space which is the home of the Jerwood Arts’ exhibition and events programme.
Blue clay paviours were specified for both the internal and external paving having joint widths of a 10mm. The Architect required a jointing material that matched the colour of the paviours. . Traditional mortar jointing was not an option due to the labour cost, cleaning and colour required.
Geofix Original was chosen for its suitability for both internal and external use combined with the ease of application and speed of use. A bespoke colour was produced matching the colour of the paving.
